Darian has said some pretty funny stuff the last few days and I wanted to get it written down before I forgot.
The other day she asked me for some candy, I told her no so she went and asked her daddy who was about 5 ft from me. I sat her down and explained to her that if I said 'no' it meant 'no' and the same with daddy. If I said 'go ask daddy' that meant to go ask daddy and visa versa. Immediately upon finishing my explanation of this concept Darian asked me "can you tell me to go ask daddy?" I feel like I am in one of those Family Circus cartoons.
And... now I remember because she said it again this morning.
She was at the table eating her cereal and came over to me kind of whimpering saying her feet were 'sparkling'. She was sitting on her legs while eating and her feet fell asleep. Too cute!
