After the past crazy few months we decided that it would be best to escape for the holidays and go to Disneyland. Needless to say after the trip I don't feel like I can ever go back and duplicate all of the perks / blessings that we received. A family friend works for Disney Cruise Lines and was able to organize everything down to reservations at any restaurant as well as VIP seating for the parades. Do you know how nice it is to sit with no one around to fight for seats with during the Christmas parade and the electric parade? We were spoiled to say the least. Christmas eve we spent most of the day in Disneyland and the girls were just ecstatic. We got to meet a bunch of the characters right before the parade even though Devyn slept through most of the pictures and the ENTIRE parade but Darian loved it. Christmas morning the girls opened presents - we had a theme going with pretty much everything Tinkerbell, then off to California Adventure. They had some great rides and because Darian is such giant for her age was able to go on most all of the big kid roller coasters. She loved them all! We stayed out till about 11pm till the girls crashed then headed back to the hotel. The next morning we got up and went to breakfast with all the characters. Anyone going to Disneyland should most definitely go to the character breakfast. The girls had Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy and a couple of others All to themselves and we spent almost 2 hours there watching them dance and squeal and squeaze them the whole time. They had the most absolute best time. What a trip!

I didn't know there was such a thing as VIP parade sitting. Is there a way for people to go about reserving that?
