The girls started the 2010 soccer season today. Devyn is a month shy of actually being a player on the roster but since daddy is the coach we are counting her as part of the team. She stood on the sideline waiting to sub in for awhile and after trying to be so patient (waited all last year to play) she was pretty insistent calling her 'daddy' to let her in.
She had alot of fun running around trying to catch the ball. Apparently she was not getting enough ball time and went to the other teams sideline, took one of their balls and started kicking it around on the field to our goal while the team was at the other end.
Darius was entertained by watching his first soccer game.
Darian is 1 of only 2 returning soccer players this year on the team so we are starting with a fresh batch of kids. She did pretty well and scored a goal.
After the game we high five the other team and all the parents line up in a tunnel for the kids to run through- for some reason ALL the kids seem to enjoy this part more than the actual game.
