Blue Thunder

Our 2nd tball season came to a close this past weekend. It's always a little bit bittersweet at the close of the season. It's nice to have our Friday nights and Saturday morning's back but on the other hand we just spent the last 10 weeks with these families and 9 other kids getting to know them and investing in their little lives. We decided we needed to do a better job keeping in contact with them all. The girls love playing and have improved so much over the season. Their hitting is phenomenal and they have gotten a lot better and fielding and throwing. Derron & I played in a softball tournament last weekend and they were both surprised how far we could hit the ball. It was nice to have them see me play since they NEVER have and to prove I actually could hit a ball and throw. :) I'm sure it meant meant more to me than them.





Darius got to ride around on the golf cart with our friend during the game and visit all the teams.
