My little Mermaids

Darian and Devyn were invited to go to a swim day at their friend Tea & Ellie's house yesterday. Their mom and I have known each other for years and found out that the girls were in the same dance class. They have become quite good friends so we were excited to go spend the afternoon with them. They are all the same ages so it works out fantastic. Everytime we go swimming I do lessons with the girls so they can get more comfortable in the water without their floaties. The last couple times Darian has gone for a few hours in the shallow end just going back and forth side to side. Yesterday they had a slide... and my fearless little confidant beginner swimmer went down it all day, in the deep end, without any floaties swimming back and forth into the deep end over and over and over, with really good form. She was so proud of herself and did such an AWESOME job. :) Devyn is not far behind and is working really hard learning how to breathe underwater as well and her arms. We watch Youtube videos of beginning swimming lessons and practice in the living room on days that they aren't actually swimming and they are picking it up so quickly. So proud of my little swimmers. :) Darius loves jumping in off the side of the pool and going underwater so he's not far behind them.
