Birthday Boy

One year ago our sweet little baby boy joined our family. It has been non stop laughs since. He is such a happy little baby, laughing constantly. He loves to wrestle if there is anyone on the floor, loves chasing his sisters and playing with any type of ball. His snuggles are the best when he runs across the room with arms wide open for a big hug and pats on the back. Daily he puts items on his head and walks around the house with a huge grin on his face. He loves to eat and refuses baby food if we are at the table eating real food. His vocabulary is more like shouting sounds but he does yell 'Hi DA' every time daddy walks in the door, Ma whenever he wants me, and 'Hh' whenever he gets a phone in his hand and puts it up to his ear. He has been an amazing addition to our family and we are blessed beyond words to have him here.



Well it came a lot sooner than I thought but today Darius turned 1. Amazing how quickly it came but I tried to enjoy it to the fullest. It's been a chaotic week so far since Darian started Kindergarten at home. So we took the day off and just enjoyed playing around. We started out with our traditional pancakes, strawberries and whip cream breakfast, went to daddy's for lunch, went to the water park for hours, and then came home and had cupcakes. We are planning on doing a big celebration when we finally get into a house.
