Ha... if only it were somewhat organized! I have been feeling more than overwhelmed the past couple of weeks. I still am in awe of my parents and what they had to pull off to make all of our schedules coincide and for the most part work. Homeschooling has been going really well and I am enjoying every part of it. I couldn't imagine trying to figure the curriculum out by myself and beyond thankful that all that was done for me. I just follow the daily lessons that come up and work through it and now we are head of schedule, almost finished with the 2nd quarter and we have another 3 weeks of the first quarter. The part I enjoy the most is that I am completely involved in what Darian is learning and we talk about it and practice it and play games about it ALL day long. I am completely surprised by how much they are expected to learn in Kindergarten. Monday is typically a slower day, mostly just school as is Tuesday's but then Wednesday's hit and we have Bible study, which the kids have Bible class at the same time and are loving learning, school, then Kidquest, which is an AWANA type program that Darian just started at our church. She has been having such a fun time going and comes home singing worship songs. We blasted the Youtube videos today of the songs she remembered and her little face lit up as she danced around. Every other Thursday is MOPS, I love the break to just hang out with other ladies. Friday night is soccer practice, Saturday at noon are games and then who knows what else we need to do to catch up on everything. It's exhausting and that is only 1 child involved in a minimum of activities... and everything is within 3 blocks of our house lol... Wednesday she had her first little outing/ field trip to a cooking class. Siblings are always invited so Devyn was able to participate too. They had such a wonderful time!

Devyn getting to measure out the sugar

And stirring in some of the ingredients.

Darian using the pastry blender to mix in the butter.

And brushing the melted butter onto her cinnamon roll.

Rolling it up and getting ready to put it on the oven.

Waiting for the rolls to cool off.

Yummy! They sent us home with the recipe and we are looking forward to making them Saturday morning for daddy.
