Christmas letters

We have been loving out new place, the neighborhood, the huge park a block away.  We have only met a handful of neighbors since it has been freezing, not too many people are just hanging out.  The neighbors directly accross the street have 4 kids, 3 boys and a 9 year old daughter who was beyond excited to meet the girls.  They came over the first few days we were moving.  A couple days later she came with her mom with these cute little mice.  So cute and a very, very nice family. 

For Christmas we had been trying to prep the kiddos that with the purchase of our home right before Christmas there might not be as many gifts as there were last year.  They understand that we had to use a lot of money to get into the house and were more than understanding about it.  We sat down and wrote letters to Santa a few days before Christmas.  Darian asked for: and Ipad, and IPhone and a microphone.  I let her know that Santa had a budget for each kid too and not to get her hopes up for the Iphone or Ipad because those were not toys that were appropriate for a 6 year old.  Devyn's list included a skirt, dress and a princess ball.  Darius just did several scribbles but he was really into it. 

 We ran on our new sidewalk around the corner to our mailbox.  :)  Love that we have sidewalks now.
