Today we took the girls to pick out a tree. We haven't gotten one since our first year of marriage and another one 2 years ago so now the girls are old enough to pick it out we went to the Christmas Tree farm to let them run through and pick out their favorite. The only rule was they had to decided and agree on 1! (and no arguing) Derron and I stayed quiet to see which way they would go... to the smaller trees or the BIG ones. This was the tree I picked out and was sure they would love a HUGE tree. Derron had to remind me it was for them and not for myself. :)
This was the tree that we almost went home with... (In all honesty I was a little crushed when they both liked this one and said they wanted the little miniature one)
This is our Christmas tree for 2010. When we asked them why they liked it apparently it was just their size to put the ornaments on so... no need to purchase more lights, the 1 strand I have should fit, and the ornaments I have already will surely fill up the branches on here.
