In the years past we have been in bed by 9 or 10ish and haven't rung in a new year for quite some time... what a way to make yourself feel old. Anyways we decided that this would be a fun time to start celebrating with the kids so we made a run to the supermarket at 8:30 and got some sparkling cider. Came home and started the celebration.
This is 10pm dancing away to the performances on TV.11:00pm

They turned the news on at 11:00-11:30pm so the girls brushed daddy's hair for him to help him look nice to bring in the new years. They kept saying 'you are such a pretty girl' and laughing in hysterics.
The midnight toast.

12:30 turned into a wrestling match with daddy. This is how Devyn attacks - knees first jumping off the couch onto his back.
Then a pillow fight.Even DJ tried to stay up with us but lost the battle... he was a little frustrated right at midnight but then woke up soon after to visit for a little bit.
4:00am all is quiet in the living room during our slumber party.
