Devynism

I remember when I was a kid, older kid watching old reruns of 'Kids say the darndest things' and then Bill Cosby did a couple of them that were hilarious and I was convinced that kids couldn't think of those things on their own they had to be coached by either there parents prior to the show or the producers or something but as we go through our daily life I am constantly entertained by things that come out of Devyn's mouth. Some are hilarious and some are just random funny little sayings she uses but they all bring a smile to my face. :)

~ Walking up to me out of nowhere says 'HELLO, I need a prince!'
~ 'Can I please have some Hanitizer?' Combining hand and sanitizer - this is a constant.
~ She was running in her slippers and sliding on the carpet and one time she fell and said 'I couldn't stop my feet, they kept going all by themselves.'

Darian has some funny little things mixing up letters every once in awhile.
Christmas Day we were visiting Grandpa Don, he lives in a 3rd story Condo overlooking hawyard, parts of Castro Valley and the San Mateo bridge. The girls were looking out at all the city lights and she turns to me completely bright eyed and said 'Look mom I can see You Nork!!!' Tonight at dinner was the whopper - You know when you choke on water or something you say it went down the wrong pipe? I'm not sure if everyone explains it like that but that it what we always said growing up well Darian swallowed her water too fast during lunch today and auntie Tracy asked 'did it go down the wrong pipe' Darian knew what she meant because I had asked her times before about things going down the wrong pipe. Well tonight while we were eating dinner we were talking with the girls and they have been going at eachother lately and the fighting has increased a bit so I asked Darian why did she think that she was arguing so much with Devyn lately and her response was 'Well I was trying to be nice but my attitude came up the wrong pipe.' Luckily I was able to keep a serious face to try to finish the conversation but o my word where does she come up with these things? haha

I love the things that come out of their mouths at this age. I think age three is the absolute best for this. Glad you're writing them down and sharing it with the rest of us. They are so easily and quickly forgotten most of the time.
