We baked Strawberry cupcakes for daddy's work and was finally able to use the decorating kit my mom got me for Christmas. I have learned that baking with 2 anxious cooks makes the process about 3 times as long but they enjoy it so much so I've been trying to do it more often. We call it our cooking class and today they got some cool utensils. Little piggy spatulas, piggy wisks, heart shaped measuring cups and teaspoon / table spoon sets. We are looking forward to our 'cooking class' which I'm going to try and do once a week... we'll see how that goes.
The girls were very excited to hand out the cupcakes to all daddy's coworkers. Mima Joan aka Derron's boss received a special one Darian frosted just for her.
We went from office to office with daddy to hand them out and everyone loved it. It was a pretty good trade off for the girls too, everytime they handed a cupcake they were given a piece of candy or 2 or a handful. By the time they were done and we were walking out to the car their pockets were stuffed, mine were full and candy kept dropping out of their hands in the parking lot.
Devyn was so careful in selecting each cupcake when it was her turn.
