So last week ended our 3rd season for soccer and probably our last of the little kid leagues with the girls. It has been so fun to watch the transition from the 1st time they started playing to now and how much they have both improved. Darian was the oldest on the team, since we asked for them to be on the same one for our sanity and scheduling. She towered over so many of the little players. And Devyn's confidence still wavering at the beginning of the season grew leaps & bounds by the end of the season. They started both running the entire field ahead of the team to run to our goal. Darian would usually dribble it all the way & Devyn would run in front of the goal for a pass. The last game Darian had about 8 goals and Devyn ran all the way for 4. They are both so proud of scoring and love the thrill of kicking it in the goal. We also had our team party Friday night and they both got their medals. They Love getting their medals.
