My little worker bee Devyn was awarded student of the month at the assembly at school this morning. In front of 65 classmates and parents. She wasn't quite sure what was going on but had a grin from ear to ear when she heard her name. She received a certificate from her teacher and some other little prizes. I am beyond proud of her for her hard work and dedication to her schoolwork. She loves learning and getting better and asks all throughout the day, even when we are done of she can do her school. I had to laugh thinking 'your mom has no idea what that is like'. :)
We came home and celebrated on the front lawn with a Klondike bar. :) She thought it was from her school since the bear on the front of the wrapper matches their 'CAVA bear'.
My little 4 year old Kindergartener, almost 1/2 way done with her math already and working right along in all her other subjects. Way to go Devyn! So proud of you!
