We got to go with Derron down to La Jolla for his conference and stayed an amazing hotel right on the beach. It had a great pool which the kids swam in while they weren't jumping in the waves. Such a fun age to go places with the kiddos since they are past the baby stage. :) Friday we went to Sea world for the day and had such an awesome time.

Sitting front row of the show - we got soaked but who cares... it was so fun and we got to see them up close when they came out of the water.
They had a huge starfish area where the kids were able to touch all the starfish.
We were able to see the feeding of the sea lions.
And got to go under the shark tank in a tunnel. That was amazing seeing them up close and from underneath!
The day was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday so it wasn't too crowded, kids tickets were free in October and the weather was perfect. We walked in and checked things out and ended up being able to see so many different things. We saw the Whale, Sea lion, and Dolphin shows among so many other cool things we got to explore and rides to ride. So enjoying this age with them all as they are all interested and curious. We were also able to knock a several out several science lessons about the ocean, coasts & tides pools. :)
