We had such a fun day on Friday. The Fresno fair was in town and the girls had a field trip with CAVA so they got in Free. So we took Grammy & Auntie Ashley with us. (Loving these field trips) When we got there we went around to see all the Livestock and got to see 2 brand new baby sheep (less than an hour old). As we were watching the mother started having some more contraction and gave birth to another one right before our very eyes. It was amazing! We learned that day that they only feed their first 2 and if there is a 3rd born in the litter they have to bottle feed it. We watched as the 3rd one from another litter tried to nurse and the mom kept walking away so he couldn't eat. So sad but the nature of how it works I guess. After that we ate some goodies and looked at all the produce that is grown in the valley. It was fun looking at everything especially with the girls learning about it in Science.
After the fair we went to the pumpkin patch, which is no longer a pumpkin patch but a smaller version of the fair with all the rides and games and a section of pumpkins. The fair rides were closed when we went because of it being a field trip day so this made up for it.
They had a little photo backdrop area setup. The poses crack me up in this shot because this is exactly their personalities. Darian is center of attention totally trying to be perfect. Devyn's just chilling out all casual. And Darius is having to climb up on anything that's not the ground.
Little too big buddy.
And there it goes.
