'I'm a Dirthead'

It goes without saying that as the kids play outside there is an expectation that they will get filthy, covered in dirt and need a bath as soon as they are done with their adventures... today was no different as they were out there playing in the dirt making drinks and mudpies I heard Devyn yell 'mom I have dirt in my mouth' I said 'spit it out then' which she proceeded to do and I asked her how she got dirt in there her reply was 'Darian put it in there'. Darian said that she 'accidentally put it on her'... sounded like a response I would use growing up when hitting Auntie Megan. Regardless Darian got in trouble and I went to help Devyn wash her face and found that not only was it all in her mouth, covering her whole face AND completely covered the top of her head. The worst part is I just realized I was taking a nap when daddy called them in to lay down for theirs so I'm sure I will be changing sheets & pillowcases before bed. Gross!
