No my daughters!

Well we are coming close to wrapping up the second soccer season for the girls and they have been having a fun time out there. Devyn tries to be so patient waiting for her turn to get out there but for some reason loves tackling daddy's legs better than kicking the ball. The last few weeks she has been getting a little frustrated because of being the littlest / youngest she isn't as fast as the other kids. They just better watch out when she comes back next season a year older and bigger and better.
Darian has made us so proud the past few weeks. As we have been around more and more kids and parents in these leagues you start to see the differences in personalities. We worked really hard with Darian last season on not pushing when running after the ball, which in her defense is hard to do when you have 10 little bodies all running around this little white thing but last weeks game she earned a reward. A little boy on the other team grabbed her arm with both his hands and was holding onto her and not letting her go (kind of aggressively), she asked him 'please stop' which is what we say when you want someone to stop doing something, and he started pulling on her - she really did a good job standing her ground and gave the little boy a push (not hard) and ALL the parents on both teams gave her a cheer. I was kind of embarrassed that she pushed the kid but they were all so proud of her how she handled it and telling us that she did such a great job and how impressed they were with it.

This is one of the pileup pictures.
