Snow Day

Today was our planned snow day. And even though we had tried to plan ahead we still had to make a stop at target before heading up the hill for a pair of gloves due to the misplacement from last years trip. Either way we got up there, stopped in the local store to get the parking pass for the snowpark and heard that they were absolutely packed and there was a major storm warning advisory in a few hours till the next morning. Derron walked out a little bummed as we had spent an hour and 1/2 getting everyone put together at home before we even left the house so we would be able to just jump out and play... we'll we stopped for a potty break before heading back down and right there in front of us was this awesome play park covered with fresh snow. IT WAS PERFECT!!!! No hills for the girls (or us) to climb and they could play at the park and in the snow. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a few hours. It turned out to be quite a challenge climbing on playground equipment with huge snow clothes, little bit of a drizzling rain and the equipment all slippery but it caused some great spills. :)
