Darian has been working so hard on tying her laces on her roller blades that she got for her birthday. They usually turn out about halfway done and then a bundles mess under the Velcro strap. All her shoes have been flip flops, sandals or Velcro tennis shoes so I haven't thought much about her tying her shoe. We work on it with the roller blades but not too much. I found these shoes at the store for $5 so grabbed them and told her we could practice on these. She came back in the room a minute later with it done PERFECTLY!!! She picks up on things so quickly and pushes herself until she has it completely mastered. She then put on the right shoe and said it felt funny on the toe. The sole of the toe was completely chopped off so back to the store they go and we'll have to find another pair she can tie. :)
