What a week...

This week has been NUTS!  Derron left for work Monday morning with a little bit of an upset stomach, I got a text about 2 hrs. later that he thought his ulcer was acting up and was in a lot of pain laying on the floor of his office trying to calm it down.  About an hour later he showed up at our house completely pale and collapsed on the bed from pain and could not figure out how to get it to calm down.  About 45 min. later he asked to go to the hospital.  11:00 or so he went and by 7:00pm that evening he went in for surgery to have his appendix removed.  What a difference a day makes.  He came home Tuesday and was now in a completely different kind of pain from the surgery but feeling better.  We had our annual camping trip planned for Friday and it was looking a bit iffy to now go.  Taking it hour by hour in hopes that he would be feeling better.  Friday morning came and we went to run an errand and the car ride 5 blocks away caused a lot of pain so that was it, no camping trip since it was a 3 1/2 hr. drive away.  Instead the girls got to go to their dance recital with their little classmates.  They were the first number of the whole show and did an amazing job!  They were so stinkin cute up there on stage.  Darius was cheering for them their entire number too.
