Rain Rain Go Away

We didn't really mind the rain actually - every time it rains the girls ask to go jump in puddles. We hadn't yet this winter for some reason there are very few puddles that form but it rained ALL night and day today so when they asked we looked outside and our front garden area was a big puddle. We got some warm clothes on, which what good does that do when you are going to go get wet? But... I guess it made me feel like I was doing what a mom should do. Got them all dressed and let them go... they had so much fun trying to see how big they could splash them. I remember when we would go jumping in the rain and gutters growing up and how much fun I had. I had just won a huge red jacket from a jog-a-thon drawing and couldn't wait to wear it out in the rain. These are times I hope they remember as they grow and have children of their own. Devyn only fell in the puddles two times. :) When they were done you couldn't even tell what colors their clothes started out as. It was a fun distraction from not having any power all day though.
